Blitzkrieg

   A few years earlier Hitler had coined the term Blitzkrieg, or “lightning war,” as his swift, professional armored columns quickly captured objective after objective. His juggernaut seemed unstoppable and his legions invincible.

   Now as Allied armies were driving swiftly into Germany from all directions, the vaunted supermen of the Third Reich were on the receiving end of a Blitzkrieg.
